I was a fan of Andre Agassi back in the 90s. I just read Agassi’s autobiography last month during my Christmas holiday. I am not a fan of famous people’s biographies because they tend to talk too much about how difficult it can be to achieve success. I know…
However, I was keen (and curious) to read Agassi’s biography because he grew up playing tennis by hating it (because his father thought he should!) and his love journey. In his biography, I found those answers. ^_^ Very interesting.

Another noticeable theme in Agassi’s biography is that he spent quite some time talking about his inner self and how his inner self talked him down during a grand slam match and throughout his life. He said: “Tennis is a lonely sport, and you tend to talk to yourself a lot, with a lot of negativity.”
Do you talk to yourself? Do you hear your inner voice? It’s usually not nice, is it?
In my previous blog post (A Monster in your Brain), I shared some views on this. Your inner self is often mean to yourself. Learn to use this damaging force to your advantage and push you forward. Coaching can help. Sign up a coaching plan and upgrade your life today.
