All project managers know that the success of a big project is a compilation of small wins; when small tasks are done on time and well, you will achieve your goal on time. However, we tend to focus too much on big success and forget to celebrate our small wins.
90 km cycling and 10 km running on a hot Saturday morning while training for the Australian Ironman 2022. Small trainings add up to the goal of finishing an Ironman race.
Now, reflect on your journey in 2022. Did you achieve your goals? Are you happy with your achievements? When did you celebrate your small wins last year? When did you express your gratitude to someone who was there and did their job well?
Last month, I did a project with the Royal Flying Doctor Services (RFDS) in Sydney. RFDS is an amazing organisation with a long and proud history in aeromedicine in Australia. I help RFDS improve their operational efficiency to reduce operating costs and maintain their services in outback Australia. I am so happy to work with such a great organisation and contribute to its goal: saving lives.
If you live in the outback Australia, then this RFDS medical chest will be your life saver.
